Verex exhaust parts fitted

One of the first things many people do when they purchase a new bike is to throw an exhaust on it. This addition is often in pursuit of more power, less weight, better sound or better looks and sometimes all four. The FTR 1200 S comes fitted with a rather handsome-looking Akrapovic twin muffler and stainless-steel headers from the factory and, while it looks great, the system is weighty, and holds back that sexy V-twin exhaust note in order to tick the boxes associated with standard fitment.
