When I met Geoff he was living in Surry Hills, Sydney, with his old dog Rex. It was around the time he returned from the Six Days in France and he got really sick with hepatitis and was taken from the plane in a wheelchair. I hardly knew him but he came home with me and I had to put him in hospital to go on dialysis!
