SWORD FIGHTERS

It only seems fitting that we should showcase two of the world’s fastest 500cc enduro bikes in our 500th issue and we didn’t have to look far to find them, with Victorians Daniel Milner and Daniel Sanders claiming the outright wins at the 2018 and 2019 International Six Day Enduros respectively in Chile and Portugal aboard E3 four-stroke machines from Austria.

MILNER’S 2018 KTM 500EXC-F

Daniel Milner’s stand-out overseas ride came at the 2018 International Six Days in Chile when he led the Australian Trophy Team to victory. Milner’s performance was unmatched, leaving the KTM rider with the E3 win and outright honors. His 500EXC-F was built by respected KTM Australia technician Michael Carusi who’s also worked with legendary riders such as Toby Price, Ben Grabham and Sanders.

No one knows a KTM 500EXC-F better than Mick, with the likeable mechanic notching up around 20 major titles across the Australian Off-Road Championship, Australian Four-Day Enduro, Finke and Hattah Desert Races and, of course, the 2018 ISDE.
