Plopping myself in the chair at the manicure table, I splayed my fingers onto the towel in front of me and started nattering.
‘I’ll try a nice flower pattern this time,’ I smiled to my nail technician and good mate Linda.
It was March 2020 and Linda had been my go-to for manicures for over 10 years.
Every month, I’d treat myself to a trip to the salon where Linda worked.
