Allegorically exploring (6 April, Quirk) riffs on the real-life “Satanic Panic” of the ’80s, with a five-year-old telling a lie that leads to wild accusations. Thirty years on, that boy (now a teacher) is haunted by memories of his past… and becomes the subject of an accusation himself. New anthology (out now, Titan) features 18 new tales inspired by T’Challa’s homeland and its inhabitants, all penned by authors from across the African Diaspora, including Tananarive Due and Suyi Davies Okungbowa. (Titan, 23 March) celebrates the space western with over 120 pieces by artists, illustrators and graphic designers – from character portraits and faux book covers to wanted posters. The latest release is (1 April, DK), described as the “definitive biography” of the franchise’s first family. The title of (6 April, Titan) speaks for itself: it includes scenes that were later altered or cut out, with commentary from artists Sam Hudecki and Darryl Henley.
