Astrologically speaking, the main event this month is an annular solar eclipse in Gemini on June 10. Every eclipse sensitizes the area in your horoscope in which it occurs. There are several different types of solar eclipses. When the Moon obliterates the light of the Sun, this is a total eclipse. If only part of the Sun is covered, this is a partial eclipse. If the Moon is in its farthest point of orbit from the Earth at the time of the eclipse, the edges of the Sun remain visible as a bright ring or annulus of sunlight around the Moon, and thus the designation of the resulting eclipse as “annular.” This seems to be the most powerful type of eclipse, as it represents the triggering of special events in your life.

Because the eclipse on June 10 is in Gemini, lots of talking, flirting, and mental activity will probably occur, especially if that tendency is indicated in a person’s birth chart. Another factor that adds zest to this month is Mars’ entry on June 11 into pleasure-loving Leo. On the 26th, Venus enters that same sign and remains there through July 21. With the two passion planets, Mars and Venus, in ardent Leo at the same time, there will be some hot summer romances.
