Flooring Porter wins with a ‘huge performance’
THE name Mullins is synonymous with Cheltenham, but Thursday was the day a couple of the trainer’s nephews, Danny and Emmet, got on the score sheet.
Danny, the jockey, only knew he would be riding Flooring Porter in the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle an hour before the race after regular jockey Jonathan Moore, who had taken a heavy fall the previous Sunday, declared himself unfit to ride.
