Swap and go

All good things must come to an end, and so my time with our Indian FTR 1200 S long termer has ended. But goodbyes are never easy and this was no different as our parting wasn’t just a matter of calling a courier or running the FTR down to the Indian dealership, because even though my time with the FTR was up, the FTR’s stint in the hands of other AMCN staffers wasn’t. I’d hogged it for the last few months, putting just over 3000 kilometres under its flat-track-style wheels and now the Victorian-based crew need a lash.

In an amazing twist of fate (that Kel and I organised), a shiny new Suzuki V-Strom 650 had been delivered to Kel’s house which I need for an upcoming feature. Half-way on the map looked to be somewhere near Mallacoota, and given what that community has been through the last 12 months or so, we figured there’d be worse
