What a pleasure it is to make a magazine. The process is time-consuming and intimate, and the relationships that form along the way are often life affirming.

We first met over a respectful exchange about our issue. Brian wasn’t into philosophy and wanted the yarns back. We assured him that (Issue 28) and (Issue 32) were an exception and not. That’s how Beached Art happened. Turns out the guy who took the photos was Sarge, a prolific surf photographer from the 80s and early 90s. That’s another story for another issue.
