BASHA O’REILLY
THE “long rider”, author and publisher has died after an illness.
Born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1947, the-then Miss Cornwall-Legh started riding aged five. She rode to a high level in dressage, and became an equestrian explorer.
Having started her travels in Mongolia, in 1995 she visited the Russian steppes, where she fell in love with red Cossack stallion Count Pompeii. That
