A place I LOVE

fter leaving Auckland in 2014, Miriama Smith’s search for a place to call home led her to Waihi Beach. Now she can’t tear herself away from the Bay of Plenty town. When Miriama’s not gracing our screens, she teaches yoga at the local RSA and, based on Patricia Grace’s novel of the same name, has just been released. It’s a drama about three Māori cousins who spend a lifetime searching for each other. Waihi Beach. It’s a beautiful beachside town in the middle of the Coromandel and the Bay of Plenty. We live here. We love it!
