Affipadaf honeymoon adventure

Trapped in South Africa due to the nationwide lockdown and a honeymoon awaiting us, we thought: what better way to get to know our own beautiful country a little better? Jaco is in charge of the route with only one condition: it needs to have a little bit of everything South Africa has on offer… Mountains to ocean, and whatever is in-between.

The original plan was to travel north through the Kruger National Park and then via Kosi Bay along the North Coast, but then, as a surprise to Chantelle and to keep the mystery alive, I changed up the route to do it the other way around. We planned to cover just under 4 000km over a 14-day period in our trusty Mitsi – a 2008 Mitsubishi Triton 3.2-DI-D 4x4, 2008 model with 340 000km on the clock.
