If you aren’t using Arch Linux and don’t want to reboot your computer to use a live disc, you from an ISO image. Once you’ve done that, much of the process is the same but you’ll have to partition your disk image in the emulator rather than using the whole disk approach, as we’ve taken here. You’ll also need to make sure your emulator has networking already set up because installing Arch from the live disk involves downloading packages.
