You can read sensors on the Raspberry Pi directly with the command vcgencmd measure_temp . And you could capture this. But we love a good Pi project around here. Why not get yourself one of the many tiny display HATs available for the Pi, and make a live-updating graph of not only its temperature, but sensor readings from your own desktop machine. We found a cute 1.3 inch, Adafruit PiTFT bonnet, meant for the Pi Zero but we couldn’t find one of them so fixed it to a regular-looking Pi.
