In fact, for away club games he’s happy to avoid the changing room ahead of kick-off, preferring the sanctuary of the stands, where he can chill to music or send a text or two.
Yeah, a relaxed type of guy. Hill was on an England Rugby podcast the week after the Calcutta Cup match and looked like he was falling asleep. Podcast host Dylan Hartley asked him what his USP was. “I think I can bring a calmness to the squad,” he answered.
