1 ‘Construction Skyline by Night’ by Tom Barker
“I put a little twist on the example of using screws to create a landscape shot with a sky background [issue 236, page 66]. The background here is a black splashback with glitter flecks above a cooker, and the screws are on a black granite chopping board with a little water poured on – the idea was to give it a night effect.”
Digital Camera says: We love the thought you’ve put into setting up the background here, Tom, taking our original example and making it your own with a simple yet effective technique. There’s great control of lighting, too.
