    Jenny Woodhouse began to write seriously after she retired. She studied creative writing with the Open University, since when her output has shrunk from novel to short stories and she now writes mainly flash. She is currently working on a number of novellas in flash. She has been published, amongst, and other anthologies. She has been longlisted, shortlisted and every-way-listed, but this is her first competition success.
