Friends since childhood, Sadie Frost and Frances Ruffelle are a dream to interview, totally at ease as the memories and laughter keep on coming.
“We were the naughty girls,” actress, designer and film producer Sadie recalls of them meeting aged 11 at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. “We were the same height, we both had dark long hair and little cheeky faces; there were a lot of similarities.”
Musical theatre star and singer Frances tells us how she and Sadie, now both 55, always looked “scruffy” in uniform compared to their smartly dressed classmates.
