A silent killer

Around 7,400 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer every year in the UK, with an average of 11 dying every day. Because many women aren’t aware of the symptoms, or the signs can be mild or easily passed off, two thirds of cases aren’t diagnosed until the cancer is advanced. But if caught early, nine out of 10 women will survive.
