ith the arrival of this CQ issue, the vernal equinox is nearing, which means longer-haul DX, 6-meter propagation, and warmer temperatures are on the horizon. However, as I compose this installment of “The Learning Curve,” it is late January and so far, 2021 is starting off tumultuously. The virus continues to affect us. However, there is comfort to be found in everyday things, such as the emerging daffodils and tulips, tree sap flowing, buds appearing, and the predictable rising and setting of the sun. There is also the moon’s trek across the sky for EME (earth-moon-earth) communications. Best of all, there is our beloved ham radio hobby to cope with
