Fitbit Versa 3

FITNESS WATCH £199 from Amazon www.snipca.com/36745

Watch your steps

Fitbit was one of the first companies to popularise smart wrist devices, and this update to its most affordable model adds built-in GPS, so you can map your walks, runs and bike rides whether or not you take your mobile phone. It doesn’t include the advanced new sensors in the Fitbit Sense (£299), including electrocardiogram (ECG), but has improved heart-rate tracking, which we found as accurate as other smart watches. The GPS wasn’t quite so convincing, tending to under-report distances by a couple of per cent, but beats phone-based tracking, which can suffer from Bluetooth glitches.
