MOTORSPORT’S biggest adventure of the year is actually its first major international event of the season – and that’ll never be more true than when the 2021 running of the Dakar Rally begins on Sunday 3 January.
The long-distance, desert-based event has evolved from its early days as the Paris-Dakar rally raid, and the 2021 edition will be based entirely in Saudi Arabia, starting in Jeddah and finishing back in the city on 15 January.
