UFO on the Moon

IT WAS GREAT TO SEE C12 UFO – HARRY METCALFE’S Pagani Zonda – back in the pages of evo (issue 275).

Like many readers, my car choices over the years have undoubtedly been influenced by evo. But no, this letter isn’t about me buying a Zonda; although I’m lucky to work on NASA and European Space Agency missions at The Open University, the salary isn’t likely to stretch that far anytime soon.

However, when we needed an exhaust to vent spent gases from a shoebox-sized instrument searching for ice at the south pole of the Moon – well, I couldn’t possibly comment on what might have influenced the design…
