American writer Ernest Hemingway loved Cuba with a passion – and never more so than when sipping cocktails at Havana bar El Floridita. His favourite was a daiquiri with a twist: Papa Doble – double rum, Maraschino liqueur, grapefruit juice, a dash of lime and no sugar. Hemingway’s record was 16 in one sitting.
