Home to one of the longest uninterrupted beaches in the world, picturesque lakes and lush rainforests, Gippsland has something to offer every stripe of traveller.
Starting from a spit near Port Albert all the way to Lakes Entrance, the incredible 90 Mile Beach stretches as far as the eye can see. It is one of the cleanest and most pristine beaches in the world, with seemingly endless golden sand and one of Australia’s healthiest marine ecosystems, teeming with biodiversity.
Seaside towns Woodside Beach, Seaspray, Golden Beach, Loch Sport and Lakes Entrance offer boating, diving, fishing and other water sports, as you’d expect. Also keep an eye out for cellar doors providing world-class Australian wines, breweries for the beer lover, and cafes and restaurants featuring delicious — and extremely fresh — local produce and seafood.
