Make the most of tax breaks

THE end of the 2020/21 tax year is a week away and, if you act quickly, there are a number of things you can do to reap maximum benefit from the tax breaks available to you, particularly regarding retirement savings.

Who knows what next week’s Budget Speech will bring? Although the government is not expected to reduce the incentives on saving for retirement, you may end up paying more tax overall, particularly if duties on alcohol, cigarettes and petrol are raised
