WITH eyes blinking as they emerged from cinemas into the bright sunshine, many movie fans would have had the above opening lines of a ’60s hit song still playing in their heads.

The duet by Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle was recorded for the Hindi movie Teesri Manzil, which starred Shammi Kapoor and Asha Parekh.

Also, Tamil movie buffs in the ’60s would have been humming tunes from the movie which had MGR and Saroja Devi in the lead roles.
