Ever since I started collecting guns, I’ve tried to collect original specimens of their ammunition. This hasn’t always been easy, as cartridges are expendables that rapidly become an empty case after a loud bang and a cloud of smoke.
Nevertheless, in some 40 years I’ve amassed about 1,500 cartridges to complement my collection of antique military rifles. During lockdown, I’ve taken the opportunity to weed my collection, disposing of duplicates
