Playing as Agent 47, you’re a legendary assassin who’s gone rogue from the ICA (the International Contract Agency, a sort of Amazon for hitman services) and is seeking revenge. Cue plentiful globetrotting, ending up in playful sandbox maps with a range of objectives that usually revolve around bloody murder. Ending the World Of Assassination trilogy, Hitman 3 goes big, a tactic which has both pros and cons.
How you kill your targets is largely up to you. Agent 47 is competent at just about every method of murder under the sun, but with dense maps full of potential witnesses and high-level security, the more quietly you do it, the better. Guns are plentiful, but you’ll die in a hail of bullets if you alert guards (though if you act fast, you can disable those around you before word can reach too far – there’s always a way back and fresh duds to don).
Social stealth is the name of the game, from blending into crowds to knocking people out and nabbing their clothes to use as disguises.
