OGIER AT 50: THE BEST WINS OF HIS WRC CAREER

When describing rally drivers like Sebastien Ogier, you simply run out of superlatives. With the 2021 season set to be Ogier’s last full year of competition in the World championship, surpassing the great Sebastien Loeb’s record of nine titles and 79 rally victories looks to be off the table. But there’s a strong bank of evidence to suggest Ogier can claim to be the greatest world rally driver of all time.

This season he is targeting world title number eight and by winning the Monte, has now hit the half-century mark in terms of rally wins. Claiming titles for three different manufacturers and rally wins for four, Ogier has proved a versatility than Loeb wasn’t able to with the latter’s success all coming with Citroen.

But this feature isn’t here to convince you which Sebastien is the greatest; that’s a conversation for another day. Instead, MN has decided to look back over Ogier’s 50 victories in the WRC and tried to assemble them into a top-10 order of his greatest ever drives. With such an esteemed career, this was no easy task…
