HUNTING, spanning at least parts of three seasons of the year, exposes us to nearly every possible weather condition. Neither the UK nor Ireland are famed for their rational weather patterns or warm, sunny winters, and the task of dressing for its unpredictability is often a tricky one. One thing is for certain, though; if you go hunting regularly, you’re going to have at least one bone-soakingly wet day a season.
However, there’s an apt expression about there being no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothing. Fairweather hunting people, it’s time to turn the page. This article won’t be for you.
