Harold Dyer got hooked on Volkswagens in 1975, around the time hotVWs Magazine unveiled Jim Holmes/Greg Aron-son’s ’63 Ragtop, acknowledged as the first Cal Look Volkswagen. Growing up in Sounthern California, he had a neighbor named Jim Abdon, who lived around the corner and raced a Bug.
