JUST DESERTS

This is one of those games that’s lovely to play but difficult to write about without sounding like the sort of person who uses words like ‘lilting’ in conversation. Very little happens, until you’re emotionally ready. It’s unlikely to change how you see the world. But every second you spend in its company will ultimately feel worthwhile, not least because it has absolute respect for your time. At a svelte sub-two hours, one of those wonderful games you can tick off in a single evening. That makes it sound slightly like a simple DIY chore, but it’s much more than that. It’s a unique pleasure to play – just existing in its world is uplifting.
