The wrong girl?

Noura Jackson was as carefree as any other teenager.

She enjoyed socialising with friends, going to parties and experimenting with drinking alcohol.

Her mother Jennifer Jackson, 39, was an investment banker.

And together they lived at their home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Noura’s mother and her father Nazmi Hassanieh had divorced when she was a baby. Raised by her mum, the pair were very close.

But at 16, Noura had reconnected with her father.

And, as their relationship had blossomed, the one between Noura and her mother had deteriorated.
