You didn’t have to saya game had just begun.Something in the way you took my handsaid ‘Don’t let go’and so we ended up one-handed in the bathroombrushing teeth, politelyhelping one another with the toothpaste, taking turnsuntil we both had brushes preppedand used our free handsto complete a job that never took this long beforebut never once had felt quite so engaging, challengeescalating as we rinsed and spatand then I sat down on the toilet and we laughed, but we still took our turns, not letting go and afterwards, just as the game was over(we’d both won) I wondered howa silent game between two hands can start and finishjust like that.
