The virtual GLOBETROTTER

Ordinarily, when my husband plays computer games, I say something sarcastic about accidentally marrying a teenager, then saunter off to do something I deem more worthy. But these are not ordinary times.

So when Gaz, 39, bought an Oculus virtual-reality headset, I was intrigued. You pull the visor on and a pair of screens create the sensation you’re looking at a 3D world. You can play games, race, fly and try virtual experiences all around the world.
