ADB receives mountains of letters and photos from readers eager to tell us about their latest builds, but it’s not often we’re given the green light to ride them. Often it’s because the builds are spread across all parts of the country, and sometimes overseas, but it could also be because the owners read Fear of Failure, which features at least one of us crashing every month.

We don’t blame you guys. If you’ve poured your blood, sweat and tears into a dream bike, emptying your wallet in the process, it’s hard to hand the result over to someone to ride. But dirtbikes are meant to be ridden and sometimes we’re fortunate enough to score rides on bikes that should be in giant glass cases.
