iliam Gibson’s latest, (out now, Penguin), part two in a trilogy which began with 2014’s , once again features a post-global societal, (out now, Fourth Estate) is a sort-of prequel, but you don’t need to have read the previous book. Following three space travellers trying to destroy a company that’s wreaked biotech havoc, it takes place across multiple dimensions, with events and characters recurring, appearing in different and ever-shifting forms. We said: “By some margin, the author’s strangest book–but also his most rewarding… A genuinely original tale of environmental apocalypse. Finally, Lavie Tidhar’s (4 February, Head Of Zeus) is a highly original take on Arthurian legend featuring aliens, a radioactive no-go area, a dragon sighting and the hunt for the Grail. Lancelot’s a ninja warrior, Merlin a fey creature, and Arthur a street kid.
