Through the Barn Door

As a child one of Kay’s favorite pastimes was dreaming what it would be like to live on a farm and have a barn to explore. As she created this quilt, she imagined looking outside at the barn door and seeing a beautiful field of flowers. Beautiful inspiration, Kay!

TIP: One of the nicest features of Diamond Textiles’ fabrics is the option to use the wrong side of the fabric. The gold, dark brown, and blue fabric are the same print; however, I used the reverse side of the gold and blue fabrics to add interest to the quilt.
