Bertie Fisher was, without question, a superb rally driver capable of beating anybody on their day, but more than that, Bertie Fisher was simply a wonderfully personable human being whose presence in the service park continues to be missed.
January 22 is a date all of Irish motorsport wishes it could forget but likely never will. Last Friday marked 20 years since Bertie, his son Mark and daughter Emma lost their lives in a helicopter crash near their family home in County Fermanagh.
