Workers demand action over ‘factory of horrors’

AN Eastern Cape factory with an alleged poor safety record has been described by workers as a place of horrors.
According to the staff at Truda Foods in Queenstown, worker Eugene Jali's hand was allegedly severed by a maize mixer while on duty on January 13 last year.
He joins a list of at least 31 workers who were allegedly injured on duty in 2020 alone,
