Employers still dodging pension fund contributions

THE Pension Funds Adjudicator (PFA) has voiced consternation over the non-payment of retirement fund contributions by many employers and that some funds treat members with disdain.

In her office’s annual report for 2019/20, the adjudicator, Muvhango Lukhaimane, said the number of complaints the office received seemed to have stabilised, although it remained high. “This has continued to place a strain on our resources.”
