Kyle Berkshire might just be the most impressive golfer you do not know. The son of a former Secret Service agent, he has gone from hitting golf balls 250 yards at the age of six to hitting drives harder, faster and further than anyone else on the planet. And all before the age of 23.

With his rockstar looks and growing popularity among players and fans, Berkshire is a marketeer’s dream and the man Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson go to for distance tips. But he doesn’t just talk a good game. He has the power to back it up. Despite living with 70 percent hearing loss, his rock-step triggered 155mph swing has already won him a World Championship title belt, and soon he will attempt to set a new Guinness World Record by hitting a drive over 600 yards.

“I know I can do it, but it will be pretty incredible,” says Berkshire, whose longest drive in competition is an absurd 492 yards. “I came across this golf course which is very dry and windy and about 7,000ft above sea level. There’s this particular hole which is downhill the entire way and when I played it with my normal driver, I hit my drive 485 yards with a pretty slow swing speed.
