We know what you’re thinking — the GTO platform isn’t the most common to modify here in New Zealand, for a few reasons. Generally speaking, the tech-crammed Mitsubishi supercar from the ’90s was lightyears ahead of its competitors on release, however, it was incredibly heavy. Yeah, yeah — GT-R fans we hear you, the Nissan is great too, but just sit down and take note. The GTO in 1991 came equipped with active aero, active electronic suspension, active exhaust, four-wheel steering, and it was the development car for active-yaw-control (AYC).
