5 (5) (6) 100g (200m) balls of King Cole Fashion Aran (70% acrylic, 30% wool) in Mull (440)*. Pair of 4mm (No. 8) and 5mm (No. 6) knitting needles; cable needle; 1 button. Yarn is available at the knittingnetwork.co.uk.

TENSION

18 stitches and 25 rows, to 10 x 10cm, over stocking stitch (knit on right side and purl on wrong side) and 58-stitch cable pattern measures 24cm across, using 5mm needles.
