The ultimate Fordson?

In 1963, a year before production began at Ford’s new Basildon factory, the company built the final incarnations of its Fordson models – the ‘New Performance’ range. These were to be the last tractors before the introduction of the worldwide range, known internally as 6X, and what many now refer to as the pre-Force tractors.

The first New Performance Super Major, serial no. 960337, rolled off the Dagenham production line in June 1963.
