THE TWO AND A HALF FRONT WAR

At his annual press conference held on January 12, ahead of the Army Day celebration on January 15, army chief General M.M. Naravane outlined the challenges facing the world’s second-largest fighting force. An active ‘two and a half front war’—armyspeak for all its external and internal security challenges—is now a reality.
