LARGE BULL SHARKS ARE considered responsible for the majority of near-shore attacks on people, including many which have been wrongly attributed to other species.
Found in warm, shallow waters along coasts and in rivers all around the world, the bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) lives in both salt and fresh water. Known to travel up rivers, they have been seen in the Mississippi River
