Caleb Ewan was 17 when he upstaged elite sprinters at an Australian criterium series and earned instant comparison to cycling’s then notorious fast-man Mark Cavendish. He became an overnight sensation in local circles following a stage win in Williamstown, Victoria, where he uncannily resembled Cavendish blazing to the finish line.
