Keeping time

During the 2020 coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, while many households across the country were using the time to have a clear-out, professional illustrator, designer and passionate photographer Jon Higham was benefiting from someone who never had. Higham’s father-in-law, John Strevett, is a lifelong hoarder. When John’s wife died, unable to look after himself, he joined finances with daughter Katie and Jon to buy an ancient house, full of character, near Bexhill with a view towards the South Downs. John has a private space next to the cellar where he lives among his artefacts.
